Amarillo Triana
information Commercial name (according to European Standard EN 12440 addendum A) for a fine-grained, yellow magnesian marble of Triassic ( other authorities say Devonian )age, with small black veins and iron oxide dendrites, Spanish "amarillo" = yellow.
Essentials: dolomite (about 98%); accessories: calcite, iron oxide, magnesium, muscovite.
Technical and physical characteristics: Bulk density: 2,81 - 2,84 kg/dm³, bending strength: 9,6 N/mm², compression breaking load: 126,16 - 147,0 N/mm², water absorption: 0,35%.
Uses: Ornamental stone.
